# Energy Settings and Parameters

Set run period, sizing factors, shadow calculation methods, etc.

Energy simulation parameters are settings directly used for EnergyPlus. Users can access it from the [Pollination ](/user-manual/rhino-plugin/pollination-commands/alphabetically/po_pollination.md)panel or command [PO\_SimulationParameter](/user-manual/rhino-plugin/pollination-commands/alphabetically/po_simulationparameter.md).
